<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">POSITION SCOPE

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Provision of an effective maintenance service to all plant/equipment used within the refining and packing areas, with emphasis on the improving plant availability & reliability.

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Meet or better all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental targets.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Carry out plant isolations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Maintenance responsibility for all mechanical, electrical and electronic systems employed within the Process, Packing, Utilities and Jetty sections. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Carry out reactive maintenance when required by plant priorities.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Progress to agreed maintenance plans.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">To plan, schedule & agree daily/weekly workload with the Area Maintenance Leader, incorporating Preventative, Predictive and improvement activities.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Plan plant insurance inspections liaising with the insurance inspector when required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Complete plant improvement projects as time allows.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Supervise maintenance activities optimizing available on site resources and contractors to ensure expedient, high quality repairs, servicing and improvement projects.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Liaise with contractors and manage RAMS and PTW.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Supervise cleaning resources to maintain plant hygiene. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Administer and review SAP maintenance system for budgeting, historical trend & reliability analysis, and in order to maintain accurate SAP inventories. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Provide where necessary HT cover for the site following the appropriate training and assessment.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Undertake detailed RCA on component failures, generating and implementing modifications & improvements to address reliability and performance issues within the plant.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Provide cost estimates for improvement projects and generate capital requests for these projects.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Participate in capital projects at all stages of implementation through to commissioning including pre-delivery inspections & installation of new plant for area of responsibility.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Meet with suppliers or potential suppliers and carry out audits/visits to suppliers’ premises when required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Mentor, train and advise on engineering practices and Maintenance issues at all levels.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Plant reliability measured in up time, OEE & lost opportunity.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Performance against job specific KPM’s
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Perform lift release duties as required
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Participation on Fire Auxiliary team as required

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Comparable experience of maintenance within an automated continuous process environment, which may include PLC and/or HT systems.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Experience of Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques and regimes.

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Preferably an HNC/NVQ 4 in an engineering discipline, at least BTEC/ONC in relevant discipline.
