To safely maintain the daily operation of the Automatic Guided Vehicles (AVG) in the receiving, storing, and preparation of loading of packaged products in the Warehouse.



  • Monitor the AGV Graphical User Interface (GUI) software, providing manual interventions and adjustments to AGV’s and software where required
  • Review and troubleshoot pallet issues to determine root cause and corrective actions, and carry out required actions
  • Assist AGV Maintenance Technician with troubleshooting issues
  • Carry out manual forklift operations of receiving and loading where required, including providing break cover for other roles in the Warehouse
  • Assist the Inventory Co-Coordinator with cycle counting and other inventory checks
  • Clearly communicate information and issues within Warehouse team of Operators, Coordinator and Maintenance Technician, both during shift and at handover
  • Maintain a warehouse environment that is compliant with required safety, environmental, quality and hygiene standards
  • Participate in area continuous improvement projects where appropriate




  • Keyboard skills and IT aptitude to access and amend information in the warehouse management systems
  • Demonstrated competency of Excel / Word / Windows systems
  • Verbal & written communication skills to accurately describe problems, causes and solutions
  • Planning skills to ensure routine activities can be completed

  • Previous experience in an automated warehouse environment
  • Manual Handling awareness



  • Current Counterbalance Forklift license
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, educated to at least 4 GCSEs or the equivalent
