Ensure appropriate financial planning, analysis and accounting of plant expenses & inventory variances, and maintain product costs at Redpath’s Belleville Facility. You will be an active member of the Redpath finance team.


The candidate will need to be comfortable presenting their analyses, be able to gain a full understanding of their areas of responsibility and be able to work cross functionally. They will be proactive, ambitious and keen to develop a broad understanding of the business.



  • Cost Statement analysis with value-added commentary
  • Build  accurate variable and fixed cost budgets for Belleville’s Production Facility
  • Costing analysis of Belleville’s products
  • Supporting operations and sales for new product development with costing analysis, and insight
  • Inventory count management and support
  • Gaining an in-depth knowledge of systems, and processes to provide guidance to the business.
  • Maintenance of material master data in SAP
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Other projects/tasks as assigned


  • Min 3 to 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry of the above sought tasks, working in a fast paced environment


  • Degree in accounting, finance or business related field
  • Accounting designation preferred.



Technical skills:

  • Understanding of material costing methodologies
  • Ability to navigate through SAP – MM, FI, COPA, EWM, MII
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills
    Soft skills:
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders of the Belleville Operations Team, Redpath Team and Parent Company to drive decision making through sound financial advice and value added support
  • Ability to deliver on deadlines, with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, and prioritize activities


  • Primary location of work will be downtown Toronto, with regular visits to Belleville (when applicable)
