OVERVIEW
The Syrup Station Operator, operates, by aid of automatic controls, the complete syrup station to include inverters, flash evaporator, heaters, pumps, filters, slurry tanks, contact tanks, and other related equipment.

 

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adds chemicals and other manufacturing supplies to process as required or directed.
  • Obtains and carries samples and containers to and from designated areas.
  • Transports desired chemicals and manufacturing supplies to and from syrup station as required.
  • Operates mobile equipment as required.
  • Maintains record as directed.
  • Checks, with appropriate equipment, PH, brix, sediment, and other specifications of syrups as required or directed.
  • Cleans work area and syrup station including equipment, tanks, etc.
  • Performs all jobs in accordance with established safety practices and sanitation standards.

WORK EXPERIENCES

  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing facility or other related environment is needed
  • Prior experience operating packaging equipment is preferred

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED is required

 

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
The ideal candidate will have the ability to:

  • Read and adjust scales on various types of packaging equipment and related equipment
  • Perform industrial labor tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs.) and handling drums (up to 55lbs.) and other bulk units.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, maintain written records, troubleshoot equipment problems, and perform mathematical calculations
  • This position requires the flexibility to work various shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and overtime, as needed. Weekend shifts may be mandated based on business needs.

 

HOURLY RATE

  • Starting Rate: $29.57
  • Paid vacation and sick time after ninety day proabtion period.
