OVERVIEW

Repair/Rebuild necessary equipment/machines and/or make modifications to keep the production equipment running in the highest efficiency.  Support equipment PM’s and building maintenance.

 

 

 

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Should be strong communicators and team members who can also work independently as needed.
  • Attention to detail, time management skills and organizational skills should also be displayed in this occupation, as well as above-average eye-hand coordination and the ability to stand, kneel or crouch for long periods of time throughout the day.
  • Repairing and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Calibrating and maintaining circuitry.
  • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
  • Able to use and comprehend CMMS.

 

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from one-year College or technical school related with this specific duty; or two-year-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

 

 ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Ability to work with metric and English units, use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Troubles shooting our production equipment fabricate / replace any mechanical parts that break down.
  • Hydraulic knowledge.
  • Address any immediate machine safety concerns.
  • 12 hours shift.
  • Complete work orders and daily logs.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively correspond with a group of employees.

STARTING WAGE

$ 29.00 / Hour
