OVERVIEW

Sugar Farms Co-op is searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Precision Agriculture Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in the field of precision agriculture, working with our expert agronomists and technology specialists to optimize crop production and sustainability.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to read, speak and write English and/or Spanish
• Ability to work with others and/or alone with minimum supervision
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate information pertaining to the job
• Ability to follow proper safety and housekeeping procedures pertaining to the area
• Ability to work the posted scheduled and unscheduled hours as necessary
• Basic computer skills on software like Microsoft Excel, Access, or ArcMap or other data management tools

• Data Entry and Management: Proficiency in entering, updating, and managing data accurately.
• Attention to Detail.
• Basic problem-solving and quantitative skills
• Candidate should be a proactive self-starter; strong collaboration skills and high accountability standards required.

WORK EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening
• Enrolled student at a post-secondary educational institution
