OVERVIEW
The Operator is responsible for learning all aspects of the production operation such as loading/unloading bulk sugar, melt processing, and packaging by performing the following duties.
PAY RATE:
$21.00/HOUR
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for equipment start up and observation of possible malfunctions
- Reports malfunctions to supervisor and makes minor adjustments or repairs (i.e. opening valves)
- Execute melt, bulk load/unloading, and packaging processes according to process/procedure
- Performs quality control in accordance to standardized process/procedure
- Completes all necessary paperwork according to process/procedure
- Replenishes packaging supplies as necessary
- Open to cross-functional training in all areas of operation
- Participates in customer/federal audits as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
WORK EXPERIENCES
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar industry required
- Prior experience troubleshooting equipment strongly preferred
- Prior experience operating a forklift preferred
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required

- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
