OVERVIEW
The Junior Control Systems Engineer will assist in the design, development, and implementation of process control systems in a sugar refinery environment. Working closely with the Process Engineering team, you will help optimize production processes, improve system efficiency, and support day-to-day operations.
Your Opportunity
- Training and Support: Receive technical training and provide support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of process control systems.
- Assist in Design and Development: Support the design and development of the existing process control systems or new platform migrations, including hardware and software components.
- System Integration: Assist in integrating process control systems with existing industrial equipment and systems.
- Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validation of control systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to control systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complying: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of control system designs, configurations, and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Process or Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Programming knowledge of PLCs (Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text). Experience with Allen Bradley is a plus.
- Development of control systems with SCADA and HMI platforms
- Fluent in English
