Security Officer

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Company security protocols and policies, while safeguarding Company property against various threats through static, patrol, and escort security duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Holder of a valid Class A driver’s license
• Be able to operate standard transmission and 4x4 type off-road vehicles
• Possess Security, Police, or Military background and or equivalent skills
• Verbal and written bi-lingual capabilities (English & Spanish)

Skills and Competencies: 

• Excellent written & communication skills
• Team oriented/ possesses interpersonal skills 
• Able to work flexible hours (shifts, weekends, & Holidays)
• Be physically fit and able to stand long hours in all types of weather conditions
• Must be able to legally carry and use firearms during course of their duties

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct patrols at the Company’s properties within the Orange Walk area
• Report to assigned area and perform all duties diligently
• Respond quickly to all accidents/incidents that affect the company
• Write reports on all accidents/incidents
• Any other duties assigned by your Supervisor or the Security Manager
