The Water Operator will be responsible for monitoring and operating systems and equipment within BSI’s Power Plant.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Associates’ Degree in Science concentration in Chemistry
Skills and Competencies:
- Analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot
- Computer literate, able to use plant computer systems to monitor work backlog and input work order data
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Control Room Operator and Shift Supervisor about equipment start and stop time, abnormal conditions and corrective actions, equipment inspection
- Perform operational diagnostic and analytical functions on systems, equipment and components
- Administrate functions in support of the shift unit such as time-keeping, materials support, cost monitoring and scheduling, and quality control and assurance
- Uses plant computer systems to monitor work backlog and input work order data
- Perform operational diagnostic and analytical functions on systems, equipment and components
