OVERVIEW
The Innovation & Commercialization Program Manager oversees multiple projects and programs from ideation to post-launch audits, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and goals. This role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enforcing decision-making structures, PMO processes and standards that make sure a project, or program is run effectively and in alignment with organizational goals while maintaining progress visibility to all key stakeholders. The Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to execute projects in adherence to the established stage gate process.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop end-to-end detailed project plans and manage scope, schedule, and cost impacts
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively
- Coordinate and lead project reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet quality, cost and time standards
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of specifications in the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system
- Provide clear project status updates, risk assessments, and timelines to key stakeholders
- Facilitate effective communication amongst team members to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the process
- Escalate risks or issues proactively with proposed mitigation plans
- Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency in PMO processes and project execution
- Support creation of PMO training documents for cross-functional teams involved in stage gate process
WORK EXPERIENCES
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Project Management processes
- Clear understanding of Stage Gate Process
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage change request and scope creep
- MS Office literate, especially Office 365
- Proficient in MS Project and project documentation tools
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field
- Project management experience, preferably PMP certified
