OVERVIEW

The Center of Excellence drives to manage Supply Chain complexity more effectively and efficiently by implementing innovative improvements across supply chain functions, processes, and technology. The CoE works to develop and execute initiatives that focus on providing our supply chain team to make faster data driven decisions that improve our overall performance. Concentrated on orchestrating end to end change and improving disciplines, not on executing day to day operations. This role will be focused on developing meaningful reporting and analytics, designing data requirements, and ongoing adoption and education around analytics.

 

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analytics
    • Works with IT to communicate the business requirements and support defining and building analytics models.
    • Works with cross-functional teams to understand common data and analytics needs
    • Ensures the ongoing alignment of the analytics solutions with evolving business needs.
    • Works with data engineers to identify data requirements.
    • Works with analytics and decision support tool users to understand their challenges, current workflow, capture requirements and propose analytics-enabled process improvements.
    • Works with the business leaders to understand overall supply chain priorities and identify new initiatives for continuous improvement or process innovation.
    • Evaluates and prioritizes ad hoc reporting at the request of supply chain users.
    • Generates reports and/or charts to support regular meetings such as sales and operations planning (S&OP) and other business reviews.
    • Incorporates best practice supply chain principles into building analytics
    • Troubleshoots existing data/ stories, develops and communicates resolution
    • Incorporates Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and other data sets in analytics
  • Training
    • Trains analytics users and supports embedding analytics insights into their daily workflow. This includes tools such as SAC, PowerBI, and Analysis for Office
    • Trains users on basics of creating reports in PowerBI
    • Trains employees on data sources, and documentation
  • Governance
    • Develop and maintain corporate Supply Chain KPIs and analytics using best practices
    • Works with IT to setup and secure work-spaces for enterprise stories
    • Tracks usage compliance, success factors and hurdles behind adoption levels.
    • Maintains and governs data catalog for GSC data sets and metrics
    • Prioritizes enhancements/ break fix requests with IT
  • Projects
    • Supports the data mining and analysis requirements for various projects including but not limited to: forecasting,  planning,  Network analysis projects
    • Support in testing activities during system updates/ upgrades
    • Makes recommendations in the evaluation of different AI Supply Chain Decision Augmentation Execution technologies
  • Technical
    • Leads the implementation of innovative technology that reduce manual employee actions, to improve efficiency, such as automating alerts with PowerAutomate or creating data flows in  Microsoft landscape (PowerBI Premium)
    • Support GSC analytics self service through designing and building data integration between PowerBI and other applications (IBP, Redzone) to reduce the dependency on IT
    • Architects, creates and governs datamart in analytics tool so that GSC members can more efficiently create analytics
  • Innovation
    • Works with IT and other business functions to pilot and make recommendations on different self service data solutions such as SAP DI, SAP DataSphere, and Micosoft fabric

 

WORK EXPERIENCES

  • Demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Analyst with experience working with the supply chain users to leverage analytics insights in decision making.
  • Supply chain operational role with experience in the roll-out of and training on supply chain applications.
  • Must have strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.  Proficiency with MS Office a must. Experience with SAP cloud software,  reporting tools, planning software, and ERP system (to support data validation)

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain or a related discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
