OVERVIEW
The Sr. Supply Chain Excellence Analyst drives process improvement, project execution, and supply chain excellence initiatives within the Global Supply Chain Strategy team. This role serves as a project manager and process developer — leading cross-functional process enhancements, building standard operating procedures and standard work documentation, coordinating strategic projects, and providing focused analytics to support sound business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong operational or customer-facing supply chain experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and demonstrated project management skills.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Execution
- Serves as the program owner for the Process Effectiveness initiative — a multi-year, cross-functional program to consolidate, standardize, and sustain GSC process documentation. Oversees the project team, coordinates workstreams, and drives delivery against program milestones.
- Leads and coordinates supply chain improvement projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, and stakeholder expectations.
- Tracks project milestones, maintains project documentation including RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), and reports progress to plan for leadership.
- Facilitates cross-functional working sessions, captures decisions and action items, and drives follow-through on commitments across teams.
- Identifies and escalates project-level risks proactively; maintains accountability across workstreams.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and standard work documentation for agreed-upon supply chain processes.
- Drives continuous improvement and supply chain excellence initiatives by identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance performance.
- Supports S&OE effectiveness through targeted projects and process improvement efforts.
- Supports the rollout and adoption of new processes and tools, including change management communications and training materials.
- Evaluates existing workflows and recommends simplifications that reduce non-value-added steps and improve consistency.
Analytics & Decision Support
- Conducts focused data analysis and develops clear, actionable reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making by supply chain leadership.
- Develops executive-ready presentations summarizing project status, process improvements, findings, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Applies supply chain knowledge to contextualize analysis and prioritize the right business problems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Talent Development
- Partners with teams across supply chain, operations, and finance to gather requirements and align stakeholders on process changes.
- Supports and helps organize talent development initiatives within the Supply Chain Strategy team, including coordinating learning programs, development activities, and team capability-building efforts.
- Serves as a credible project partner across functions, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
WORK EXPERIENCES
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations, with demonstrated project management or process improvement experience.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and track deliverables to completion.
- Experience developing SOPs, process documentation, or standard work; familiarity with process mapping.
- Comfortable working with data to surface insights and support business recommendations (Excel required; Power BI a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to facilitate meetings and present findings clearly to all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to build relationships and drive alignment across functions.
- Working knowledge of supply chain processes — S&OP, order management, logistics, customer service, or network operations — preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required; familiarity with SAP, E2Open, IBP, or similar systems a plus.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Project Management or a related field preferred, or;
- An equivalent combination of education and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibility. The role serves as program owner for the Process Effectiveness initiative and leads cross-functional project teams — directing project workstreams and influencing outcomes across functions without direct reporting authority.
